With the war in Israel going on now I want to thank all the Israeli Soldiers who are putting themselves in danger to protect the State of Israel. However, we shouldn’t forget to keep a lookout for any terrorists looking to threaten our juice bars, smoothie bars or even Tropicana. Beware of the juice killers.
On a more serious note though. We should all be praying for the men and women who are fighting in Israel, our hearts go out to you.

Four Sufganiyot for the 4th night of Chanukah.
It has been brought to my attention that there is an on going sufagniyah challenge in the jewish world. The challenge is as follows:
1 Sufganiyah (Jelly Donut) per candle per day. So, on the first day of Chanukah you eat one sufganiyah, the second day two and so on and so forth. If you can do the math it totals 36 sufganiyot in 8 days. Think about that for a second. There are people out there who are eating 36 deep fried jelly donuts in eight days. The more daring competitors have been known to count the shamash as well. That would be 44 total sufganiyot. Wow!

Review of China Bistro
Looking for an upscale dining experience away from the hustle of 41st street, we hopped in our car and headed 25 minutes north to China Bistro at the Aventura Waterways.
Ladies, trade in your bandanas for shaitels, as this Chinese cuisine is far from your average pizza shop. To get the full waterways experience make sure you get a table outside next the waterfall.
With an extensive sushi menu, and numerous Chinese dishes, anyone would have a hard time selecting their meal.
The melt in your mouth spare ribs and the delicious sweet and sour beef was the like a slice of Gan Eden in this gashmiush velt.
I give this restaurant 5/5 gefilte balls with a slathering of chrain.
A latke eating contest hosted by Zan’s Kosher Deli was held in Lakegrove, NY and a 23 year old body builder from Canada won by eating 46 potato latkes in 8 minutes. A heart attack waiting to happen?
Seriously, I love Salami. I actually love all deli but David’s Eastside Deli has gone above and beyond all deli lover’s wildest dreams. A huge salami menorah. What can be better than lighting Chanuka Candles and then pounding the menorah. I wonder how much mustard was available?
